Volunteers

At Bow Community Primary School, we welcome volunteers to support the work of the school and to support those wishing to gain experience in a school setting.

The types of activities that volunteers are engaged in include:

• Listening to children read
• Working with small groups of children
• Working alongside individual children within the classroom
• Accompanying school visits
• Supervising play

Becoming a Volunteer

We very much welcome volunteers, however we are limited to the number of volunteers that we can accommodate at one time.

If you feel that you have the time and skills to volunteer at Bow Community Primary School, please follow the expression of interest link here, we will then send you a Volunteer Application Form. Alternatively, you can email admin@bowcps.devon.sch.uk 

Bow Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. If we are able to offer a voluntary placement, we will contact you to invite you in for an interview. An enhanced DBS check may be necessary according to the nature of the placement. We ask all volunteers to adhere to our Volunteer Agreement.
